About Mr. Kyler
Hello! My name is Kyler Narvaez and I am currently in my second year of college as a Computer Science major. I first started off teaching here with chess in 2022, where I taught both Bobcats and Mountain Lions as well as the DVCLC co-op group. Soon after teaching chess for about a year I decided to teach Computer Science through making video games using Scratch. My background includes being homeschooled for 7 years (2nd through 8th), but then entering a public high school in 2019. I earned the Summa Cum Laude award where I graduated in white, as well as the CTI student award for the Computer Science pathway at my high school. I have always been excited to learn about math and science, but I have found that the best way to learn is to teach. I am grateful to be able to pass on the knowledge that I have acquired through life and school. As well as cultivate strong mathematical and scientific minds through fun learning!
