About Miss Isabelle

Hello! My name is Isabelle Nickolopoulos, and I am the fine art teacher for the Bobcats and Mountain Lions here at Arise Homeschool! My class is all about taking on high level concepts, and pairing them with fun and playful projects. The class focuses on drawing techniques, color theory, 2D/3D basic principles of design, and art history. I have been at Arise for a 3 years now, and have loved every minute of it. I myself was homeschooled from kindergarten all the way through high school, and graduated with a 4.0 at 16. I studied studio arts at College of the Desert, where I obtained my Associates, and transferred to University where I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s. Art is so much more than creating something beautiful to me, but rather a way to better understand our observable world, and the people who live in it through creative expression. I look forward to continuing to watch the students grow into incredible young artists!
