About Miss Allyson

My name is Miss Allyson. I have been married for 14 years and have two children that have always been homeschooled. I attended College of the Desert on and off for the last decade. I have taken Early Childhood Education and obtained most classes required for an Associates in ECE. I have worked in preschool and, because of my love for reading, enjoyed my time working with Barnes & Noble. The rest of my work has been committed to homeschooling my children and I have taught classes for another co-op. I was introduced to Miss Sheila and instantly fell in love with her vision and the program. I started subbing for her and soon after joined staff as the TK/Kinder class teacher when Arise transitioned to its current campus. This is my third year teaching at AriseHomeSchool. I have taught TK-2nd grade and, this year, I am teaching 3rd-5th grade. I love teaching and guiding children to become caring, compassionate, and moral humans that contribute to society. I have always had a passion for teaching. Some fun facts about me are: I was a surrogate for a lovely Chinese couple, all of my babies were born in August, I love to paint and bake, and I am currently learning how to homestead. I look forward to partnering with your family on your homeschool journey!
