About Miss Allyson

My name is Miss Allyson. I am married and have two children that I have always homeschooled. I attended College of the Desert on and off for the last decade. I have completed early childhood education and most classes to get my Associates degree. I have worked at Barnes & Noble and at a preschool. The rest of my time, I homeschooled and taught at another co-op. I was introduced to Miss Sheila and instantly fell in love with her vision and the program. I started subbing for Miss Sheila, followed by being offered a job to teach the pre-k/kindergarten class during the first year on the Arise Campus. This will be my 4th year teaching at AriseHomeSchool. I have taught TK-4th grade. I love teaching and guiding the students to become caring, compassionate, and moral humans when they grow up and I have always had a passion for teaching. Some fun facts about myself would be that I was a surrogate for a lovely Chinese couple. All my babies were born in August and I also love to paint, bake, and am learning to homestead.
